Privacy Policy

When you book a ride:

• Your name, email address, and phone number.
• Your pickup address and, for a fixed-rate trip, your drop-off address. When you pick an address from the suggestions, we also keep the place ID and map coordinates that Google returns for it.
• Your pickup date and time, number of passengers and bags, the vehicle you chose, any notes you add, and the price quoted for your trip.
• The status of your payment, and the payment and order reference numbers Square gives us.

Your card details are never given to us. You pay on a secure page run by Square, so your card number goes to Square and not to our website or database.

When you contact us through the website: your name, email address, your phone number if you choose to give it, and your message.

Automatically: like any website, the companies that host and deliver it receive standard technical details such as your IP address, browser type, and the pages you request. We don't use advertising or analytics trackers, and this site doesn't set cookies of its own.

• To book and carry out your ride, and to take payment for it.
• To send you a confirmation and to let us know about your booking, so your chauffeur is ready.
• To contact you about your trip, and to answer your questions.
• To keep business, tax, and payment records, and to deal with disputes.
• To keep the website and bookings safe from misuse and fraud.

We don't use your information for advertising.

We use a small number of companies to run the service. Each only gets what it needs for the job described, and each has its own privacy policy that covers how it handles information.

• Square — takes and processes your payment, and sends us confirmation that it went through. Square may also email you a receipt.
• Google (Maps and Places) — suggests addresses as you type and shows the route preview map. As you use those fields, your browser sends what you type, and the locations shown on the map, directly to Google, along with technical details like your IP address.
• Supabase — hosts the database where we store your bookings and messages.
• Resend — will deliver the emails we send, such as your booking confirmation and our notice of a new booking or enquiry, once email sending is turned on.
• Twilio — will deliver the text messages we send ourselves about new bookings, once text messaging is turned on. We do not sell or share your SMS opt-in data or personal information with third parties for marketing purposes.
• Vercel — hosts and serves this website.

To protect the contact and booking forms from spam and abuse, we use Google reCAPTCHA, which receives your IP address and details about your browser and how you use the page, and Upstash, which briefly stores your IP address to limit how often requests can be made.

We don't sell your personal information or share it with anyone for their own marketing. We may disclose information if the law requires it, or to protect the safety of our passengers, chauffeurs, or others.

We keep your information only as long as we need it for the reasons above, including keeping business and tax records and being able to deal with questions or disputes about a trip. When we no longer need it, we delete it or remove what identifies you.

You can ask us for a copy of the information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email sefailir@gmail.com and include the name, email address, and phone number you used, so we can find your records. We may need to confirm it's really you before we share or change anything.

We may not be able to delete everything straight away. For example, we may need to keep a record of a payment for tax and accounting purposes. If that's the case, we'll tell you what we're keeping and why. Records that Square holds about your payment are covered by Square's own policy.

We take reasonable steps to protect your information, including using encrypted connections and limiting who and what can reach our database. No system can be completely secure, so we can't promise perfect protection, but we take it seriously.

This website isn't directed at children, and we don't knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has given us information, email us and we'll delete it.

If we change how we handle your information, we'll update this page and the date at the top. Our Terms of Service and Cancellation & Refund Policy are also on this site.
